What to expect in your first session.

The first session is all about finding out what you need from therapy; it will be structured, and collaborative. We will spend time building a shared understanding of what brings you to therapy and explaining how CBT psychotherapy works, discusses confidentiality, and your current difficulties, and triggers. You are not expected to share everything at once, and we will go at your own pace. Together, we will agree on initial goals and a plan for future sessions.
