Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (PGCE, BSc (Hons), RMN, Student Member of BABCP)

Alongside his role as Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Jonny lectures in Mental Health Nursing Theory and Practice at the University of Central Lancashire. He is approaching the end of his training with a small number of clinical hours left to obtain before he is accredited as a BABCP psychotherapist. He is supervised by Professor Karen Wright who works collaboratively with Jonny to ensure his clients receive high quality, individualised treatment.
Jonny has more than 11 years of clinical experience in a range of mental healthcare settings, working with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychiatric difficulties. He specialises in psychotherapy for depression and a range of anxiety diagnoses, for example, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); social anxiety; health anxiety; generalised anxiety; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); panic disorder; and phobias.
He has an excellent record for successfully supporting clients to overcome their difficulties, achieve their therapy goals and is known for his warm and compassionate approach.
