Repeated actions over 2 hrs or more can put stress on tissues and cause injuries such as;

Lower back pain accounts for around 20% of all golf injuries. The rotational stresses of the swing can put significant pressure on the spine and muscles.

Tendinitis in the elbow commonly affects tennis players and golfers and the risk of getting tendinitis increases with age and improper swing.

Knee pain can occur from the strain on a weak knee at the beginning of the swing. This can result in torn ligaments and tendons.

Rotator Cuff is when pain is experienced in the shoulder or upper arm during the golf swing, or following play, often during the night and when extending arms overhead. A poorly executed swing can cause rotator cuff.

Wrist Injuries are usually tendinitis or swelling of the tendons responsible for wrist movement, causing pain at the top of the backswing and at impact.

Hand & finger Injuries can also occur with the repetitive motions of golf, and the high speed of the typical swing.

Foot & ankle injuries can occur when the golfer loses his or her footing or balance during the swing, while performing the swing with the improper swing mechanics, and when hitting a ball off an uneven surface.

Hip Injuries occur to to the hip being subjected to repeated adduction and flexion/extension forces during the swing. This requires a great deal of muscle strength and control in order to avoid injury.
